Jenny Meyer is President & CEO of JEM Advisors, a recognized leader of safety and reliability improvement in the energy, manufacturing, and petrochemical industries.  Ms. Meyer applies her previous eight years of private equity experience with SCF Partners, during which she provided due diligence on several merger and acquisitions transactions, IPOs and in building the firm’s energy business development process.  She has also served as an executive and leadership team member of a boutique consulting firm that successfully develops strategy and value for clients in industry.  

Ms. Meyer earned her MBA from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas in 2001.

Ms. Meyer honors her son Daniel, who died by suicide, through her community activism on the issues of mental health, depression and substance abuse.  She believes that, “It takes courage to address problems. But if we aren’t talking about the tough stuff, or shining a light on what needs to be fixed, we can never make changes to improve.”

In addition to her service on The Harris Center Foundation Board of Directors, Ms. Meyer is a member of the Advisory Board of the Moores School of Music Society, a runner, and an avid supporter of the Stephen F. Austin Rodeo Team.
